How can computer or tablet created imaging by an individual be classed as art? What might be called conventional art we view in galleries really isn't too different from digital artwork. They both produce a finished product whether a two dimensional image that can be viewed on a screen or printed onto paper or canvas or by a 3D printer into something that can be touched and felt. I hasten to add I am excluding images created by AI as these are simply a chain of algorithms that lack an original thought process. For many years we have considered movies and stage plays as art and this analogy goes some way to helping us understand the concept. My digital artwork is also available to purchase as a printed image or minted as an everlasting NFT that will sit forever in a blockchain.
I have always found musical instruments to be art, but with an added dimension when in the hands of a musician they stimulate another of our senses and give (most often) pleasure. This image is "Pink Les Paul".
And here "Yellow Les Paul".
